Peter Bale
Managing Partner
Peter is one of the managing partners of Bale Boshev Lawyers. With a career that dates back to 1978, Peter specialises in conveyancing, commercial and liquor law. He has negotiated leasing deals for corporations such as Hoyts Cinemas, AAMI Insurance, and Telstra.
George Boshev
Retired Founding Partner
George retired from the partnership on the 31st day of June 2023 to spend more time with his family and friends and to see more of the world. George Boshev’s knowledge of the law, his wit and his humour will be missed by all at Bale Boshev Lawyers.
Scott Bryant
Partner
Scott is a Newcastle boy born and bred in inner Newcastle. He manages our Belmont Office concentrating on conveyancing and commercial transactions as well as Estate work. He has been practising law for thirty years. He likes the odd beer. “No good drinkin’ if it don’t affect you” but abstains from alcohol for all of February each year, that being the shortest month of the year.
Joshua Hay
Partner
Josh has been practising law for more than 9 years and joined the team at Bale Boshev in 2015. While his skills are diverse, Joshua is involved in personal injury work in wills and estates, as well as commercial legal matters such as conveyancing and liquor licensing.
Ashley Davey
Senior Solicitor
Ashley has been practising law for over a dozen years, joining Bale Boshev In August 2020 following time spent with a national personal injury firm and then, for a short while, a small partnership.
Ray Blissett
Senior Solicitor
Ray has been with Bale Boshev Lawyers since 1997, and is currently the head of our East Maitland office. He has extensive knowledge in all areas of personal injury law, public liability, motor accidents and negligence claims.
Ellie Sumner
Solicitor
Ellie began her career as a volunteer with a community legal centre in Armidale and is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. She has spent the last five years working in family law, worker’s compensation and personal injury in the Tamworth and Newcastle areas.
David Kolarovski
Solicitor
David is a proud Novocastrian who is approachable and highly dedicated to achieving the best results for his clients.
David began his legal career at Bale Boshev Lawyers whilst studying and discovered his passion for helping injured people and advocating for accused persons.
