George Boshev

Partner / Co-Founder / CFO

George is one of the senior managing partners of the firm. He grew up in a rural property in New South Wales and after completing high school, attended the University of Newcastle where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree with First Class Honours.

He subsequently was granted admission to the University of Sydney Law School where he qualified and was admitted in February 1977. He worked as an employee for a Sydney legal firm for some five years, both prior to and subsequent to his admission. He practised primarily in the fields of personal injury litigation (including third party, workers compensation and public liability claims), conveyancing, commercial law and estates. He returned to the Newcastle area in 1980 and subsequently established the present firm in partnership with Peter Earle Bale. Mr Scott Kingston Bryant joined the firm and was admitted into partnership on 1 July 1989.

George's Experience

The firm consequently grew, emphasis being placed on litigation, banking and security law, licensing law, commercial litigation and estates and general conveyancing.

George practised primarily in the area of personal injury litigation, conveyancing and estates over the next 25 years but has now gradually assumed a greater role in office management and administration.

George is married with four children and outside of the office enjoys reading, card playing and spending time with his family and friends.
