Ellie has been with Bale Boshev since 2020. Born and raised in Cessnock, Ellie has made Newcastle her home for the last 4 years.

Prior to that, Ellie began her legal career as a volunteer with a community legal centre in Armidale while she studied. She then spent time working in family law, worker’s compensation and personal injury in the Tamworth and Newcastle areas while studying.

In her practice, Ellie genuinely invests herself into your matter. She is practical, objective, empathetic and dedicated to her clients and her matters. Ellie achieves outstanding results for her clients and the testimonials speak for themselves.

Ellie entered practice prior to the 2021 legislation changes and because of this she has excellent knowledge of the old and the new laws and procedures. Ellie appears often in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in both Division 1 and Division 2. Ellie has appeared in extremely complex property cases in Division 1 and parenting and property matters in Division 2. Ellie is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales as well as the High Court of Australia.

Ellie’s weeks are often filled with appearances before Registrars and Judges of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, as well as in Conciliation Conferences, Mediations, Arbitrations which have made her a skilled negotiator and advocate for her clients.

Ellie has particular expertise and knowledge in complex property matters, non-disclosure of financial documents, review of complex financial disclosure, parenting matters involving alcohol and drug abuse, binding financial agreements and consent orders.

Ellie has a significant advocacy interest for young people in the kinship and foster care systems who have been exposed to parental alcohol and drug abuse, she is involved in several foundations celebrating their success despite their adversity.
Ellie’s a keen football fan (no longer player, fellow ACL tearer’s will understand), traveller (highlight: watching the NY Knicks play in Madison Square Garden on Christmas Day) and thrill seeker (highlight: great white shark cage diving in South Australia).
