Peter Bale

Peter is one of the managing partners of Bale Boshev Lawyers. With a career that dates back to 1978, Peter specialises in conveyancing, commercial and liquor law. He has negotiated and documented leasing deals for large corporations such as Hoyts Cinemas, AAMI Insurance and Telstra.
George Boshev — Lawyers in Hamilton, NSW

George Boshev

George began his legal career in 1977 and established Bale Boshev Lawyers with Peter in 1980. George primarily practices in personal injury, conveyancing and estate matters. He has gradually assumed a greater role in management, but is able to offer his expertise when needed.

Scott Bryant

Scott is a Newcastle boy born and bred in inner Newcastle. He manages our Belmont Office concentrating on conveyancing and commercial transactions as well as Estate work. He has been practising law for thirty years. Scott is an avid sports fan but more particularly is a rugby league tragic. He likes the odd beer. “No good drinkin’ if it don’t affect you” but abstains from alcohol for all of February each year, that being the shortest month of the year.

Joshua Hay

Josh has been practising law for more than 9 years and joined the team at Bale Boshev in 2015. While his skills are diverse, Joshua is involved in personal injury work in wills and estates, as well as commercial legal matters such as conveyancing and liquor licensing.

Katherine Boshev — Lawyers in Hamilton, NSW

Katherine Boshev

Katherine began her legal career as a paralegal, with a focus in working on claims involving personal injury, medical negligence, public liability and permanent disablement. Katherine is also fluent in Macedonian, and is happy to assist those whose English skills are limited.

Ashley Davey

Ashley has been practising law for over a dozen years, joining Bale Boshev In August 2020 following time spent with a national personal injury firm and then, for a short while, a small partnership.

Phil Brogan — Lawyers in Hamilton, NSW

Phil Brogan

Phil has been exclusively practising in the areas of family law and wills and estates for the last decade. He has frequently represented clients in the Family and Federal Circuit Courts, and the Supreme Court of NSW.
Ray Blissett — Lawyers in Hamilton, NSW

Ray Blissett

Ray has been with Bale Boshev Lawyers since 1997, and is currently the head of our East Maitland office. He has extensive knowledge in all areas of personal injury law, public liability, motor accidents and negligence claims.


Katie Jolliffe

Katie completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) at the University of Newcastle in 2017 and subsequently obtained her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law in 2018. She primarily practices in family law and has expertise in parenting and property matters and divorce. Her experience also includes criminal law, traffic and license matters, civil law and debt recovery. Katie is a strong advocate for her clients and is well respected within the community as a talented family law solicitor

Victor Pritchard

Victor joined Bale Boshev in 2018 as the Office and Accounts manager. He brings with him a broad range of experience, including 10 years in law firm management for Sydney and Newcastle law firms, 5 year background in financial planning in Maitland, 5 years in IT management in Gosford and Maitland, and 2 years in website development in Brisbane. Victor obtained his Bachelor of Finance in 2005 from Newcastle University, and is also Justice of the Peace.
Ellie Sumner

Ellie Sumner

Family Wills & Estate Junior Lawyer

Ellie began her career as a volunteer with a community legal centre in Armidale, and was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2021. She has spent the last three years working in family law, worker’s compensation and personal injury in the Tamworth and Newcastle areas.
